私たちは、剣道を単なるスポーツではなく、人としての在り方を学ぶ「道」であると考えています。礼に始まり礼に終わるその在り方の中には、相手を尊重する心や、自分自身と向き合う姿勢が息づいています。
Kendo Spiritでは、こうした日本が長い年月をかけて育んできた価値観を、体験を通して伝えています。訪れた方々が、ただ技を学ぶだけでなく、自らの内面と向き合い、日本の精神文化の一端に触れる機会となることを目指しています。

海野 大地は、5歳から剣道を始め、20年にわたり稽古を続けてきました。高校時代には大阪府大会で準優勝を経験しています。
その後、海外のクルーズ船で勤務し、世界各国を訪れる中で、日本文化に対する海外からの関心の高さと同時に、その本質が正しく伝わっていない現状を実感しました。
こうした経験から、剣道と武士道を通して日本文化の本質を伝えることを志し、株式会社Kendo Spiritを設立しました。
現在は、単なる体験にとどまらず、参加者一人ひとりが自らと向き合い、日本の精神文化に触れる機会を提供することを目指して活動しています。

Daichi Umino began practicing Kendo at the age of five and has trained for 20 years. During high school, he was a runner-up in a prefectural Kendo tournament in Osaka.
He later worked on an international cruise ship, traveling across Europe and other regions, where he experienced both the strong global interest in Japanese culture and the gap in how its deeper values are understood.
Through these experiences, he founded Kendo Spirit Co., Ltd. with the vision of sharing the true essence of Japanese culture through Kendo and Bushido.
Today, his focus is not only on providing experiences, but on creating opportunities for each participant to reflect on themselves and connect with the deeper spirit of Japan.

剣道は、単なる技術の習得ではなく、礼を重んじ、自分自身と向き合い、相手を尊重する心を育てる「道」です。その中で培われる精神は、日本文化の根底にある価値観の一つでもあります。
私たちは、こうした精神を過去のものとしてではなく、現代を生きる中で意味を持つものとして伝えていきたいと考えています。体験を通して、一人ひとりが何かを感じ、自分自身と向き合うきっかけとなることを目指しています。
