Kendo Spirit is a samurai experience where participants step onto the path of modern samurai through kendo and Bushido.
Through living samurai traditions such as kendo and Bushido, we share the spirit of Japan with people around the world while preserving the values that has shaped Japan for centuries.
What is a Samurai Experience?

Today, there are many kinds of samurai experiences. Some focus on wearing samurai costumes or holding a Japanese sword.
At Kendo Spirit, we define a samurai experience differently. It is about discovering the spirit of the samurai and learning the swordsmanship that has been passed down through kendo to this day.
Through this experience, participants explore both the mind and body of the samurai and begin to sense what it meant to live as a samurai.
Be Samurai.
Through that journey, you may begin to see a deeper side of Japan.
Why Kendo?

Kendo is a living tradition that grew from the swordsmanship of the samurai.
For centuries, kendo has carried forward not only the techniques of the sword, but also the spirit of Bushido — the discipline, respect, and self-control that shaped the samurai way of life.
Through kendo, the spirit of the samurai continues to live in the present day.
That is why kendo is at the heart of the Kendo Spirit experience.
Why Bushido?

What came to be known as Bushido was not created overnight. It was formed gradually over a long period of time as part of the spirit of the Japanese people.
Through different historical periods, this spirit became especially strong among the samurai. It was refined and strengthened until it came to be known as the way of the samurai.
Today, the samurai no longer exist, and Bushido may no longer have the same clear form it once had. Yet its spirit continues to live on in Japan.
For more than two thousand years, this spirit has shaped Japan and its culture.
To understand Bushido may be one way to begin understanding Japan itself.
Who Is Kendo Spirit For?
Kendo Spirit is for those who wish to discover the deeper spirit of Japan.
It is for people who want to understand Japan not only through sightseeing, but through its traditions, discipline, and philosophy.
Through the practice of kendo and the spirit of Bushido, participants can experience a side of Japan that most visitors rarely see.
Why We Created Kendo Spirit
The reason we created Kendo Spirit is simple.
We love Japan.
The harmony and discipline of Japanese society are built on the consideration and respect people show toward one another. This spirit lives within the hearts of the Japanese people and has shaped the character of the nation.
We want to preserve this spirit and ensure that the beauty of Japan does not fade.
Bushido expresses this spirit with great clarity, and kendo has carried the spirit of Bushido forward to the present day with remarkable purity.
Through these traditions, we hope to share the spirit of Japan not only with people in Japan but also with people around the world, while continuing to protect and preserve what makes Japan so special.
This special spirit should be preserved. That is why Kendo Spirit was created.
Our Mission
Our mission is to share and preserve the spirit of Japan through kendo and Bushido.
Through Kendo Spirit, we hope to help people experience and understand it for themselves.
From that experience, each person can take something from this spirit and carry it into their own lives.
We believe that keeping this spirit alive can help build a more peaceful and happy world.
The Founder
Kendo Spirit was founded by Daichi, a lifelong practitioner of kendo.
He has practiced kendo since childhood and has spent more than twenty years walking the path of the sword.
Through kendo, he came to understand that it is not only a martial art, but also a path that carries the spirit of Bushido and the values that have shaped Japan.
With Kendo Spirit, his goal is to share this spirit with people around the world and help them discover a deeper side of Japan.
The Experience

Step into the world of the samurai.
During the experience, participants are introduced to the traditions, etiquette, and spirit passed down through generations of samurai.
More than just a cultural activity, it is an opportunity to discover a deeper side of Japan through the way of the sword.
Our Dojo

Beyond the experience, Kendo Spirit is also a place for practice.
At the dojo, participants train in kendo more deeply, learning not only techniques but also the discipline, etiquette, and mindset that are at the heart of the art.
Kendo is not something that can be understood in a single day. It is a path that is walked through continuous training.
Our dojo welcomes those who wish to continue walking that path.
What Is a Modern Samurai?
Samurai no longer exist in the modern world.
At Kendo Spirit, we call those who continue to walk the path of the sword while seeking to embody the spirit of Bushido “Samurai.”
Through the discipline of kendo, they strive to refine themselves throughout their lives.
Be Samurai. Only then can the true Japan be seen.
